The Velociraptor (meaning ‘swift seizer’), is often portrayed inaccurately in the media, particularly in the Jurassic Park movies. Rather than being a larger, human sized dinosaur, the Velociraptor was around the size of a Turkey. It is also believed to have had feathers, which is sort of captured in this puzzle pattern.
Hand cut on a scroll saw from cherry or walnut wood and finished with Tung oil. This puzzle comes from an original design with 17 pieces measuring approximately 6 inches tall x 8 inches wide. All puzzles are hand carved. As a result, each piece is unique so the color and wood-grain will vary from puzzle to puzzle.
